The biggest czech mounatin resort officially opens the summer season on the last weekend of May. You can look forward to the traditional opening of Špindl Bike Park where you can find the tracks as well for for experienced bikers as for the beginners, first race of the czech cup MTB Downhill, gala opening of the educative paths, opening of the cablecar on Svatý Petr or the presentaions of raptors and demonstraton of falconry. You can even use a lot of promotions as a part of the 1+1 project all over the Špindl resort.
Špindlerův mlýn will start this year´s season on the last weekend of May. Svatý Petr – Pláň cablecar will be enabled on the Thursday of 28th May. The cablecar on Medvědín is already available for the customers. The beginning of the summer touristic season holds the name „Špindlerovské otevírání léta“ and will offer rich programme for the families with children. It is set by the resort in cooperation with the city of Špindlerův mlýn and will take place all over the area of the resort and especially in the location of upper and lower part of Medvědín. „Children can look forward to a lot of entertaining activities like Maxi Pexeso, scooter slalom, slackline, shooting from the slingshot, jumping balls or the drawing workshop. Neither interesting rewards will be missing. Interested customer will be able to take a ride on the pony, enjoy the presentaion of raptors and demonstrations of falconry or walk throgh the educative paths called „Bear´s path“ or „Krakonoš´s story,“ says Čeněk Jílek, director of the Špindlerův mlýn skiresort, about the programme.
Skiresort will open even the Bike Park on Svatý Petr during the weekend. It is bulit so that even beginners as well as professionals will enjoy it. Špindl Bike Park offers plenty of tracks of different levels. Even the Pumptrack is favourite, it is a round track with several waves and curves placed on the finishing point of the slopes in Svatý Petr. First race of the MTB DHI Downhill Race will take place on Sunday, the mountain bikes race is attractive for riding as well as for viewing and will take place on the most difficult track of the whole series.
You can use a plenty of promotions in the whole resort area as a part of the 1+1 project. You can buy cheaper tickets for the cable cars and aquapark or refreshment and accomodation in specified hotels, bowling or borrowing of the nordic walking canes.
