Music show, dance of the snow cats, ski races, children competitions, arrival of Krakonoš or ceremonial fireworks – that was the official starting of this year winter season in Krkonoše Špindl. Audi ski opening attracted hundreds of visitors and winter sport lovers during the weekend. Even plenty of czech celebrities didn´t miss grandiose event.
Skiers enjoyed first curves on the slopes this weekend in Špindler?v mlýn. Skiareal opened this year winter season officially here. „Weather wasn´t much good this year. Natural snow didn´t fall unfortunately. Thanks to the new artificial snow system visitors enjoyed first skiing this weekend in Svatý Petr. I believe they were pleased with advantaged prices of skipasses and enjoyed rich accompanying programme for adults and children, so they will be coming back to us during the summer,“ says ?en?k Jílek, director of skiareal Špindler?v mlýn.
Traditional winter season opening started with Friday party in music club Dolská. Saturday programme offered a lot of fun to adults and children. Races for public on the peak of black ski slope with ?T Sport, demonstration of professional graphitti artist´s creations, competitions, games, discoteque for children and Maxim Turbulenc concert took place here. Interested visitors could test a ride in Audi Quattro with legendary drive on all four wheels in extreme conditions, watch the synchronized rides of snow cats and scooters or enjoy the view of Skolmax Ski Demo Team skiing. Audi Ski Opening was liven up with live concert of Support Lesbiens, performance of Eddie Stoilow, beauty queen, firework or arrival of Krakonoš, who started this year winter season also. Traditional opening attracted a lot of celebrities and various personalities also. Hockey player Dominik Hašek, skier Aleš Valenta, model Andrea Verešová or Agáta Pracha?ová with her husband Jakub visited Skiareal. Either current Czech Miss Gabriela Franková, last year winner Lucie Kovandová and other finalists Nikola Buranská and Monika Leová didn´t miss the event.
Skiareal Špindler?v Mlýn will offer cheaper skipasses, wider ski slopes and new snowpark to its visitors. If you plan winter vacation in mountains, Špindler?v mlýn is the right choice. Skiareal directed primarily on comfort and safety of skiing this year. „We broaden the finishing area of ski slopes in Hromovka, installed safety nets and doubled the size of the bridge over Labe river,“ said ?en?k Jílek and added even the information that visitors will surely appreciate modernizations of boarding area on the forur-seated cable car in Svatý Petr and brand new multifunctional building which will offer new cashiers, infocenter and new Spindl Motion Shop And Rental branch. Lovers of snowboarding and Freestyle skiing will enjoy it there as well. Skiareal set rich activities and barriers for beginners as well as experienced skiers. The novelty is new Snowpark Svatý Petr located above the exit from two-seated cable car alongside the ski lift „H?išt?“. Neither U-ramp and favorite Funtrack in Hromovka will miss there. Skiers can look forward to new guest systém GoPass, which will allow to buy skipasses online, faster, more comfortable without waiting in rows and for better prices than in stores. „Although we invested almost one hundred millions CZK into modernization, we won´t raise the price of skipasses. Skiing will be cheaper with skipasses contrarily. Holders will be able to gain even other discounts during the season. For example for food and drink in Spind Gastronomy restaurants and bars or in Spindl Motion stores,“ enclose the business director of Skiareal René Hroneš.
