Christening of Simona Krainová´s sons (Max – 3,5 and Buno – 1,5 years) took place in an intimate family circle in chapel of the church of St. Thomas in the Lesser Town. A singer Lucie Bílá and close family friend Vladimír Novák became godmather and godfather of two little boys.
„We consider christening as a headstone in every men´s life. It was a natural decision for us,“ says Simona Krainová, who picked the place for such an important occasion in the very heart of Prague together with her husband. Local augustinian monastery and church of St. Thomas offer unrepeatable atmosphere and beautiful environment. „Three facts played part in the decision – beautiful chapel, stylish Hotel Augustine in the neighbourhood and local well-known gastronomy,“ says the sympathetic mother of two with a smile.
„We selected the names, which boys will take after the christening, very carefully with a reverend´s help. Older Max got the new name Vladimír after family friend Vladimír Novák and younger Bruno got name Petr after Simona’s dad,“ says Simona.
Except of Simona Krainová and Karel Vágner themselves, even their close friends joined the ceremony. „It is a great honour and huge commitment for me. I enjoy every moment here, and I wish the boys only the lucky star to shine on their life paths,“ said Lucie Bílá, who appeared on the christening. Mother chose the same clothes for the boys, white shirts, and she was glittering herself in the black&white dress of her favorite fashion designer Kate?ina Geislerová.
Nanny Magda, Karel Vágner sr., Simona’s sister Yvonna and model Iva Kubelková were not absent between the guests, who joined the glory in the Augustine Hotel in the Lesser Town. Togehther they relished unforgettable atmosphere of christening in the church of St. Thomas and following banquet in adjoining restaurant of Augustine Hotel, which is well-known for its gastronomy and legendary saint-thomas beer, which is cooked on the basis of historical recipe from the monastic library.
